Alignment and stats discussion part I: The Simpsons [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-17-07, 06:35 PM don´t know if this had been done before but I thought it is an interesting idea
I know that the stats do sorta change over the seasons, and I haven´t seen anything past season 12, but anyway
like this:

Homer:

Alignment: Chaotic neutral (I mean he´s like the epitome of CN, right?)

STR: 14 (he´s certainly stronger than the average, but no Hercules)
DEX: 8 (or lower)
CON: 16 (he can take LOTS of punishment and survive, so it might even be 18ish)
INT: 6 (I don´t think he´s extremely! stupid, he is just VERY chaotic)
WIS: 8
CHA: 10

so I´m sure you can argue better than I can, so feel free to correct this and/or add other Simpsons characters of your choice, just wanted to show you how this should be done

Well, beign a child hes probably small sized. That would make 8str 12 dex average, and that seems more likly to be correct. He tends to be smarter than homer, so int is probably atleast 8, and more likly 10+

Whats with the CHA 11? Hes kind of the epitomy of "Forcefull personality"

Rember, charisma isnt likeability or social grace, or even social acceptance.

Marge's (And Lisa's) alignment are hard to categorize. She likes things to be quite, systematic and fairly ordered. She likes the routine and is an obvious point of law compared to the male family members. However she also has a strong tendency towards political activision and social disruption, but always with good intentions. I'd peg her as:

Neutral Good

INT: 8 ("No, when i married your father i took everything, even his DNA")
WIS: 14

Really? Id say for a small sized creature she has below average strength and dex, and probably average or below charisma. Shes socailly concious, but typically lacks the charisma to be a figurehead or even really garner much attention towards her causes. While having some respect for the law, she is often more than willing to steal and destroy, or at the very least activly disrupt, to try to achieve her goales and force her belifes on others when she is otherwise incapable of convicing them to listen to her. Id say shes a rebel. An Icon of:

I was more referring to him get a new job every other episode or taking extraordinarily unneccessary risks, which might not be a *smart* thing, but not entirely be caused just by his INT score
like lawful -> more constant way of living your life and chaos the opposite
or am I on the wrong track?

12-19-07, 03:19 AM Bart definitely has a decent to high charisma modifier. I don't think he should be the pinnacle of human achievement in charisma, but a 16 or 17 is entirely reasonable. I also think he is entirely smarter than you are giving him credit for, Barts' at least a 13, he just doesn't care about school.

Martin Prince

Str 10 (I say this from the scene where he beats the crap out of Jimbo, Dolph, and Kearny in the movie. He's stronger than even he realizes, I think.)
Dex 12
Con 10
Int 17
Wis 8
Cha 8

I put wisdom and charisma as low scores, because Martin exhibits poor judgement about who his real friends are, and has a habit of wording things in extremely awkward things.
