An expansion book I'd love to see - Complete Human [Archive] - Wizards Community

I know, it sounds a bit bland. It isn't as exciting as a Complete Book of Spectral Two-headed Dire Elemental Hydra Trolls. Yet, there is a need for a book like this. It could help "flesh out" cultural types (barbarian, dark age, sea dwellers, Rennaisance-type) and provide generic tables for human enemies the players can fight. For those who run low magic or the player's enemies are mostly human, it would be wonderful to have all those tables in front of you, detailing generic stats instead of having to ad hoc all of it together. Heck, it could even help flesh out the NPC classes a bit more. It could include an invaluable guide to professions and occupations. It could expound on how skills work with crafting.

All in all, it could help explain a bit more than the DMG does for the novice player about how to run a human-based game.

I don't know, a passing thought as I sit here and finish out my generic tables for human enemies by level.

Cheers~
