We all know we expect those white winged celestials with flowing white robes to be good and trustworthy, but what would your PC's (both from what you know about your PC's as a group, or how your own PC would react), would react to the appearance of a Celestial robed in more somber grey, perhaps even if its wings have soft gray feathers instead of white? Would your PC/PC's trust it like any other celestial who appears to them? |

| Arthur_Pendragon11-20-04, 10:54 AM | That's really kind of my point. Do you think most people in a campaign setting would make the same assumptions Fi'Irdray did? |
| Sucineri11-20-04, 11:03 AM | I believe as a completely non-metagamey standpoint, anyone that hears of angels will think humanoid with feathery wings..so yes, if they found an erinyes they would think "angel..therefor good". Now from player knowledge we know this isn't the case..and maybe it wouldn't be the case either if your character is from Sigil or something where races from all over the place are highly common, but in a typical setting..or even let's say Waterdeep in the Forgotten Realms setting, planar outsiders are not common in any sense of the word. |
