| Johnny_Angel02-15-07, 02:49 AM | I've seen a lot of threads discussing which characters could beat up which characters, so I decided to post a few "matches" and see who would be picked to win. Match 1: Trogdor vs Tiamat Match 2: Lolth vs Spiderman Match 3: King Kong vs Tarrasque Match 4: Primus vs Mr. Spock in a contest of logic Match 5: a lvl 20 Wizard vs a lvl 20 Vice President |
| Caliborn02-15-07, 03:55 AM | These are horribly lopsided and make no sense. ... Trogdor Lolth Tarrasque Primus(Diety or Band) Wizard |

| bonethug010802-15-07, 12:08 PM | Would that be channey with or without the gun.:P |
| Bruunwald02-15-07, 01:01 PM | Match 2: Lolth vs Spiderman I'm a lifelong Spider-Man fan, with an enormous uh... collection. Anyway, I stopped collecting a few years ago, because the amount of money I was dishing out each month just did not seem to be returned in quality. But just before I stopped collecting, there was this female spider/wasp/something entity, like some sort of demon or animal spirit, or low-level goddess, which was chasing him around, trying to devour him. Your choices of face-offs were lopsided... but I don't know. Spider-Man is no god, but he's faced demons, devils and would-be gods on occasion and gotten away with it. Of course, he usually has Reed or Dr. Strange or somebody helping him. But still. Obviously, Spider-Man couldn't take her in a stand-up with magic involved, but he probably could get a few hilarious comments out before escaping and tricking Galactus or somebody into going after her. Or create some device that incapacitates extraplanar beings long enough for the Avengers to shove her back through a rift or something. He's wily like that. |

I don't think all of the face offs were completely lopsided, but some definately were. I think perhaps Lolth would still win, but I think Spidey's scientific knowledge might make it a little more of a fight - for a few rounds anyway. |
| bonethug010802-15-07, 01:10 PM | Whatever suits your fancy. In that case, channey for the win please. He's obviously a good marksman.:D |
| CowMasterTrojan02-15-07, 01:30 PM | I've seen a lot of threads discussing which characters could beat up which characters, so I decided to post a few "matches" and see who would be picked to win. Match 1: Trogdor vs Tiamat Match 2: Lolth vs Spiderman Match 3: King Kong vs Tarrasque Match 4: Primus vs Mr. Spock in a contest of logic Match 5: a lvl 20 Wizard vs a lvl 20 Vice President Match 1: Tiamat would let Trogdor think he won, then come from no where later that night. Just to make the win that much more sadistic. Match 2: Ohhh, battle of the spiders. As long as spiderman had manuvering space, he'd be jumping and hoping all over the place and would eventually overcome Lolth simply because he's the good guy. The joke would be on him though, because spiderman wouldnt kill Lolth and she's return the favor by putting thousands of spider eggs in his brain. Match 3: Well using random japanese movies as reference, whenever two big creatures fight, humans always seem to get involved. I imagine that the tarrasque would open up a can of whoop ass on King Kong, then KK would climb a skyscraper to get away. Thats when humans would get involved by shooting him down. He'd fall on the tarrasque, knocking it into the negatives, and that would be the end of that. So its a tie. Later the people of Tokyo would have a feast that fed the entire city, shortly followed by the tarrasque waking up to eat everyone. Match 4: Mr. Spock is only half Vulcan, and there is the problem. He would spend days debating logic, but unfortunatly he would fall asleep. And thats when primus would decide it's illogical to let this go on. So primus would eat him, and win. Match 5: That depends. If the vice president is a democrat, the wizard would win. If the Vice president was a republican, he'd confuse the wizard with legal tactics, lure him into a false sense of security, and then take him on a hunting trip where the wizard would not be buffed when there was a "Unfortunate accident". 10 days later the wizard would apologize for getting in the way of the bullet. |

Rofl. This is what I was getting at, too.:P |
| pres_man02-15-07, 02:09 PM | Match 6: Primus (the band) singing any of their songs vs Leonard Nimoy singing "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" |
| gullas02-15-07, 03:25 PM | Match 6: Primus (the band) singing any of their songs vs Leonard Nimoy singing "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" Thats funny:rofl: |
| Johnny_Angel02-15-07, 11:44 PM | Rofl. This is what I was getting at, too.:P lol, I thought that was funny too. That's the kind of thinking I'm looking for in this thread. Keep it fun though; this is meant to be enjoyable, so I don't want to see people starting to flame. If the VP was Democrat he could invent the internet and google for the Wizard's spell list and prepare himself ahead of time to have counters to the spells. Match 6: Primus (the band) singing any of their songs vs Leonard Nimoy singing "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" I actually have that song. |

Of course, why didn't I think of that! (smacks head). If the VP is democratic then he tells the 20th level wizard he invented magic and places restriction on magic so the wizard cannot cast spells against the VP. Then he bores him to death with a 2 hour movie about global warming. Thus, a democratic VP wins too! Score one for the politicians! Now we need to figure out how a 20th level VP from independent party wins a fight.... Oh wait, its a fact of nature that independents don't win. |
| bonethug010802-16-07, 12:45 AM | Oh wait, its a fact of nature that independents don't win. No that's just not true. That fact is that they can't win.:P |
