I have two questions about "Ask wizards" D&D version:
1. Do all questions sent get responded?
2. If #1 is true than how long it usually takes to get the answer? (I'm asking because I've sent some questions and after +/- two weeks there still is no reply :/)

1. Don't be silly.
2. It varies.

1) No. It isn't possible to answer every question for many reasons.

2) If you absolutely need an answer you should use our customer service help system. http://wizards.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wizards.cfg/php/enduser/std_alp.php

2) If you absolutely need an answer you should use our customer service help system. http://wizards.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wizards.cfg/php/enduser/std_alp.phpExcept when I asked customer service a question that didn't get answered in the Ask Wizards forum, I got told: "We can only help clarify existing rules, but unfortunately we cannot help you deconstruct the specific rules or entries as they are printed, nor can we offer explanations for why the rules were created in specific ways." I wanted to know why the Favored Soul class had Knowledge (arcana) but not Knowledge (religion), which would make more sense seeing as Favored Souls have nothing to do with arcane magic.

Except when I asked customer service a question that didn't get answered in the Ask Wizards forumDidn't get answered, won't get answered, or hasn't been answered yet?

"Ask Wizards" publishes one answer every 2-3 days, which is about 3 per week. Let's say they choose to do one "FAQ" question (ie novice rules question), one "behind the scenes" question (or why the rules work as they do), and one "campaign worlds" question. That's only one of each per week. Further, they want to choose questions that will be interesting to as wide an audience as possible.

Considering that they could easily get 100 questions per week, of which (say) half are not duplicates of existing questions, it could take quite some time for them to answer all of them.

(drumroll please)
Because.

Seriously. Some of the answers are just "because".

Why do wizards have ASF?
Why can clerics be one step away from their deity in alignment?
Why are rogues called rogues and not adventurers?

"Ask wizards" is disappointing. I asked several questions, never got a reply. Then I realised there are forums. Since then I get help in the forums. Thats nice.

I have never seen an interesting question posted by "ask wizards". I have the feeling they preference questions which gives them a possibility to make advertisement to a book (Which I can understand since the purpose of the company WotC is to earn money).

1) No I am still waiting for my answer about if the witch hunters (tome of magic) special abilities also work on Kalashtar (eberron).

2) I am already waiting for about a 4 months or something.

Didn't get answered, won't get answered, or hasn't been answered yet?It was at least a month ago that I asked that, so I don't think it's going to get answered.

I've sent in probably about 20 questions to Ask Wizards, none of which has been answered.

And you are one of about 50,000 user accounts on the Boards. Let's assume there are only active 1000 Boards members (there are many more than that). Let's also assume you are not some weird uber-question-asker. Let's assume you are a fairly normal person. You have asked twenty questions. The other 999 people ask only half that. Just over 10,000 questions.

They answer at most, one question per day. They could, at a maximum, get through 365 questions a year.

When do you expect to see an answer to a question you submit?
