Fi'Irdray 12-13-04, 11:32 PM	Was looking around at Dead Gentlemen's website today (some friends of mine wanted to see the trailor for the gamers) and discovered that they have a sequal in pre-production, but didn't see anything other than the fact that the idea exists... Anyone know any other details about it?

Not quite sure how you missed it, but the site is FULL of information about the movie (tentative title: The Gamers 2: Second Edition- Dorkness Rising) While none of the characters from the first film are in the second, several of the actors are... Nathan Rice (Newmoon the elf in the first film), Matt Shimkus (Rogar the Barbarian), Matt Vancil (writer/director, played Hunk the Norwegian merc) and Emily Olson (the Princess) are in the new movie, which has a much larger cast than the first. In addition to many behind-the scenes people from the first film appearing in front of the camera this time, such WOTC notables as Peter Adkinson and Monte Cook have cameos, as well. It is true they haven't updated in a while, but the project is definatly a go! :) Happy Viewing. P.S. I'm sorry, I'm as much as a Python fan as the next guy, but using one of their quotes to announce a Dead Gentlemen production is just... wrong. There's plenty of catchphrases from DG movies (they've made quite a few, you know). Just pick one.
