bitnine 04-16-04, 10:18 PM	Watching the last episode of Angel (Episode 105 - Underneath), I have to say that the torturer fellow in the alternate dimension was most certainly the very spitting image of a chain devil. Given that Joss has thrown in other D&D references in a couple of his episodes, I'd assume that he's not unfamiliar with the game. Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else had happened to notice this, and if so, what they thought about the portrayal. That was certainly one very angry chain devil, let me tell you.

Gray Richardson 04-19-04, 08:51 PM	I noticed as well, I was watching with friends and pointed out he looked like a chain devil and others agreed. Although he had a lot more chains on his head than the rest of his body, and he didn't fight with animated chains. But it was fun to see a Kyton on Angel all the same.

Yup, I noticed that too. I'm gonna miss this show, particulalry given how good this season has been. At least they are going out on a high-note. One thing to ponder though. At the end of that episode, Lindsay ays "You're 2 soldiers down" to Angel and the crew. How did he know about Fred? She was lost when he was "trapped" in hell. Was all of that part of a ploy to get him and Eve into their trust?
