any drawings or paintings of peoples adventures? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-17-06, 05:56 PM im planning on drawing pictures of the big momments in my dnd adventrues im wondering if everyones already done that and if anyone can show pictures with captions?

12-17-06, 06:22 PM I did this one (http://www.freewebs.com/theonesean/D%26D/shadesteel.jpg) a while back. It's my friday character taking on a shadesteel golem. I was the only one in the party who could get through its damage reduction.

It's more cartoony than I would have liked, but I wasn't proficient with photoshop yet.

12-19-06, 02:58 AM Half-elf monk/fighter/acolyte of the fist. His recent portrait (http://www.freewebs.com/theonesean/D%26D/kazuki.jpg) came out a lot better.

InkBlot's a much better artist than me. I should try to talk him into drawing the Giants War and posting it.

12-19-06, 03:14 AM Two of my group own a couple of successful web sites and actually had Jeff Easley pencil draw the group standing outside my PCs bar/hideout. It cost about $400 BUT how many people can say that? We each got an OfficeMax large copy and the original is hanging in one of the guys brick and mortar stores. I will need to check on the legalties of posting it though.

I have met Jeff and he is a very nice guy so I wouldn't want to step over any lines with him.

12-19-06, 01:24 PM My RPG group at http://rustmonster.net/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 had this poster commisioned for our "Perils Of Waterdeep" campaign. The group was named
"The Open Hand"

You may notice they're all Dwarves except me. I'm the tall dark & Lovely one on the far left. On one of our jaunts through undermountian we bumped into a long dead Dwarven spirit who as reward for driving off the evils that were threatening what was left of his long lost Dwarven hold, invited us to become members of the clan. Thinking it was an honorary title we accepted only to be turned into Dwarves!

Most of the party took it pretty well. Except me. Once we got out of there it took a deck of many things to get me changed back. That was a good group. We actually got that party up to 13th-17th before they had to retire due to divergent character directions.

Yeah good times.

I wish I could remember who we had this drawn by. It was nice work. He took our descriptions and made art. The details on the different characters were great.
