| Scarlet Knight03-16-05, 09:24 PM | Enworld.org is a good one. |
| Tharivol03-16-05, 10:20 PM | I like the message boards on giantitp.com. (giantitp.com) There's only one forum directly for gaming, but there's also PbP forums, a contest board, and a world-building forum. It's also the Order of the Stick website, which is what most people know it for, probably. |
| Draco Strang03-16-05, 11:35 PM | Hey, hamster: Good for you on putting your sig in spoiler tags! I feel better already. |
| Edymnion03-16-05, 11:49 PM | http://worldsofdnd.com/forum/index.php Although, really, there isn't another board on the internet that even comes close to this one. |
| weasel fierce03-17-05, 01:24 AM | rpgnet is good but its not pure D&D. Dragonsfoot is awesome for OOP editions |
| Deep Black03-17-05, 01:32 AM | My boards are a set of Relics from Warhammer Quest. Does anyone else remember that game? |
| Habronicus03-17-05, 09:37 AM | Although, really, there isn't another board on the internet that even comes close to this one. Well, technically, GameFAQs is the best forum site on the net. In practice, though, the community here is leagues above them. :) My boards are a set of Relics from Warhammer Quest. Does anyone else remember that game? I do, and it was a very good game. I don't really like combat-oriented systems, but WHQ was very simple to learn and adapt. I created my first Magic-User there, and my GM says it was one of the most interesting characters I ever played, but unfortunately it ended in a TPK. Yeah, I miss it sometimes... |
| Dave Stebbins03-17-05, 06:54 PM | Enworld.org is a good one. Got to second the EN World recommendation. For reference, there are usually anywhere from 800 to 1,200 people logged in at any given time. -Dave |
| grokostimpy03-17-05, 06:56 PM | Here's one that I check, like, every hour. I love it. http://www.dndonlinegames.com/ |
| ORC_Paradox03-17-05, 11:07 PM | Pshaw. This is the best D&D board. /biased. :D |
| Gadodel03-17-05, 11:18 PM | Pshaw. :D Paradox using a word from the 'Valley Girl' dialect? Who would've thought? :D |
| Ottergame03-18-05, 04:19 AM | Pshaw. This is the best D&D board. /biased. :D Not to argue ;) but I perfer ENworld. This forum is a much better resource for new players, or for people wanting dicusion on specific D&D products. But as far as game rules and general D&D discussion goes, enworld is the best. RPG.net has a glut of WoD/Exaulted, and they can be hostile to d20/D&D, but there's some good talk there. |
| weasel fierce03-18-05, 04:20 AM | RPG.net has a glut of WoD/Exaulted, and they can be hostile to d20/D&D, but there's some good talk there. Nothing like geeks to fight amongst each other :) |
| Ottergame03-18-05, 05:17 AM | Nothing like geeks to fight amongst each other :) Right on, mustelidbro! |
| killcode03-18-05, 06:29 AM | http://www.dndonlinegames.com/ You can make a character sheet, and you can play D&D online, there is Eberron and Forgotten Realms I think, I'm a little lazy to check it right now. :P |
| Harold DeVor03-18-05, 06:52 AM | RPG.net has a glut of WoD/Exaulted, and they can be hostile to d20/D&D, but there's some good talk there. I wouldn't say hostile, that is saved for the "My hat of d02 knows no limit" crowd and FATAL players. |
| thinkhard03-18-05, 07:28 AM | Blashpheme! Burn The Heretic! |
| feartheinvinceblehamster03-18-05, 01:52 PM | Pshaw. This is the best D&D board. /biased. :D yeah, actually, this one is the best i've seen so far... |
