Bascially I've lost all interest in all my pc games because i've been playing them all for at least three years, and anyway I want to game with other people so I dont develope an obsessive reclusive disorder ;) . I play dnd once every week or so, but im hungry for more, and my group isnt really into roleplaying that much. I was wondering if there was anywhere online I could play dnd, or anything using the dnd 3.5 rules (as I don't really know any other rpg systems, and I want to get more familiar with 3.5), prefereably core but I dont mind too much. Also it needs to be free as I have no money.
can anyone help me?

OpenRPG (http://openrpg.com/)

Free virtual tabletop application you can use to connect with other people and play text based D&D online.
It's a sort of combined chat client with dice rollers and a whiteboard/map thing for minis etc.

Ah!

Sorry I thought you had troubles installing it.

Finding a game, well that's always the problem.

Well, in most cases it works like any other D&D, you find a group that meet at certain times to play (the openrpg forums is a good place to start) - you just do it over the internet rather than in real life.

Then there are groups like dicegamers (http://www.dice-gamers.com/) that seem to be all about not having a set schedual but you log onto the server and join any game that's running at that particular moment. - But I have to be honest, I'm not associated with them.
