I'm talking about all the dragon gods! Bahamut, Tiamat, Lendys, Hial, Garyx, Falzure, Tamara, Aastieraimian, Aaslier, Chorepois and Io! |
| Khael11-19-05, 03:14 PM | I just found some stuff on Dragon Gods/ took a look-see at your website link. Somehow from the few dragon gods i found on here and the few Kaiju gods i looked at, i get the impressive its not gonna happen, if only because: 1) the two kinds at too elemental, they're more likely to rip into one another or have an uneasy truce than side together (unless your thinking of a campaign where something threatens those gods enough to make them consider destroying the plane/continent/country to take out the threat, and the PCs must therefore stop the threat to save their own hides). 2) The D&D gods tend to avoid interference with mortals(probably because if God Y interferes with God Z's minions God Z will side with God X to elimate a good selection of god Y's followers in vengence etc.) Therefore since the Kaiju gods are more of mortal vein, the D&D gods(dragon gods included) will more likely look down on them, unless the Kaiju threaten them, in which case its war (Similar to as stated in 1) then). In short by all means it possible to put both in my game, but its likely to be either a war on mortal plane or between planes (the Kaiju gods invade the D&D world from another plane maybe or vice versa). Just my reckonings here on the limited information i've gleaned in the time, but still i say could be very interesting a campaign . |
