I've played the basic Set Adventure a couple times, does anybody have any good adventures to use with the basic set materials?

You can use just about any D&D adventure with the basic set.
Conversion requirements are minimal.

thx, it's just that some of the monsters have differentt abilities and stuff and the conversions may get confusing

True... but you don't really need to convert the monsters.

I doubt you will find much in the way of new adventures. The Basic Set is a "starter set" designed to get you playing D&D. Think of it as the Demo CD of a video game or the taste test for food at the supermarket. Want more? Buy the real thing! :D

Actually, the first Adventure Set for 3.0 had some great adventures that I feel a much better job at showing new players varied adventures. You can still pick it up for ten bucks.

Thanks. Also, when a character "levels up" is that forever or just for that gaming session.

As you wish; if you are new to the game, it may behoove you to 'reset' the experience a couple of times in order to solidly grasp the rules and such. Usually, however, a level up is forever*.

*Until, of course, that character meets up with some particularly nasty beast that drains experience levels, but don't worry about that. For now, nail the basics.
