Hey all.

Haven't come to the forums in a while and was wondering why the Novel Discussion section was removed from the boards.

Only thing I can think of was too much spoiler material, translating into poor sales on novels or something.

Any informed (i.e. WotC official) reasons as to why this discussion area was removed?

Thanks in advance.

Here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=185204) is the official explanation.

It's been posted on the other boards as well, but that's the only copy I can still find on a 'current' thread.

Sorry people, but it was decided that the Novels Forum is now no more, and
all discussion on the issue of closing the novels forums is now closed.
The decision to close the Novels Forum was NOT made by the WizO
team, and neither was the decision to close the dicsussion.

Please read
this
thread (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=2436175#post2436175) for an explanation, most especially the final post.

As I have already stated this was not a moderator team decision, so
contacting me or other members of the WizO team will not achieve anything.
