I mean with Black Isle gone (If you don't know they did the Baldur's Gate games) I don't have much hope that even if a new one comes out it will be as good as the ones back in the 2e days.

I mean we have The Temple of Elemental Evil but that was more combat then story (And I REALLY hate grayhawk so it make it like 3 times as bad for me).

I'd like to see some thing in Eberron maybe ^_^
I just hope for some thing on the level the Baldur's Gates set for good Computer RPGs

I realize this thread is somewhat off-topic, but I might as well answer your question in a few quick sentences:

Obsidian (the new Black Isle) is doing Neverwinter Nights 2, with some slight help from Bioware. This was just announced, actually.

They're also doing Knights of the Old Republic 2, which definitely qualifies as a d20 game.

Bioware itself is doing a game called Dragon Age, which is supposed to have a strong single-player campaign plus a NWN-caliber set of authoring tools as well. This is based on their own CRPG-specific game system rather than D&D, however. Also a currently unidentified console project, but that's probably not D&D-based, either.

Saw this over at EN World:
Atari has announced the development of Dragonshard, a Dungeons & Dragons real-time strategy game for the PC, the GameSpot Web site reported. Atari is partnering with Liquid Entertainment (The Lord of The Rings: War of the Ring) to create the game, which is set for release in spring 2005.

real time strategy... ugh... i never understood why this was so popular... its not strategy if your frantically clicking your mouse, and pounding your keyboard in a futile attempt to beat the speed of your computer!

give me turn based strategy anyday...
