Is anyone else wary of what insider will offer when it goes pay site? I mean in the interim we were promised pdfs of dragon and dungeon magazines. This was to show us one of the cool features of being an insider. So far, only Dragon 360 has been released in a pdf format and they are on 363. Any Dungeon? Nope.

How am I supposed to justify paying for a site when I don't even see true evidence of the only feature I would be interested in?

Just have blind faith in WotC. I mean, they've never screwed the gamers over. Except for eTools. And Dungeon Magazine. And Dragon Magazine. And Dragonlance. Well, I guess the blind faith is a little misplaced, but still trust in them.

Wary? No. I'll keep my eyes open, examine what is offered, and make my purchase (or lack thereof) based on what I see. But "wary" would not characterize my approach at all.

Sadly, I think "wary" is a pretty accurate definition of my outlook. For me D&DI represents more than just whatever dollars per month if I want to participate.
I'm a total novice in the cyber-literacy department. I don't do MySpace or eBay. I don't have a PayPal account. Compared to many I live like a caveMan. :D

So I would have to learn all this new internet-oriented stuff and banking things and such. And so far, unfortunately, the product being released doesn't compare to the mags I traveled an hour to buy at my FLGS.

So, wary, and just a little reluctant.

Peace.
