06-10-04, 09:29 AM the rule for the caster level of ApoP is apop level+1/2 previous caster levels.

Lets say i start with bard and later take apostle of peace.

if i later resume taking bard levels, does my caster level as apostle of peace increase further?

what if i take mystic theugre? is it maybe possible to get caster level beyond HD?

my english isn't best either, so i will try to clarify my question:

take Practiced Spellcaster feat for the bard class early.

starting from a bard7/apostle of peace2,
my caster level as bard is (7+4)=11, but only 9 due to cap of Practiced Spellcaster ,
my caster level as apostle of peace is (2+round_down(9/2))=6

i continue taking bard levels so the situation is
bard8/apostle of peace 2,
my caster level as bard is 8+4)=12, but only 10 due to cap of Practiced Spellcaster,
my caster level as apostle of peace is (2+round_down(10/2))=7

if i am a little munchkin, i would rater take levels as mystic theugre
bard7/apostle of peace2/mystic theugre1,
my caster level as bard is 8+4)=12, but only 10 due to cap of Practiced Spellcaster,
my caster level as apostle of peace is (3+round_down(10/2))=8

and later:
bard7/apostle of peace2/mystic theugre8,
my caster level as bard is 15+4)=19, but only 17 due to cap of Practiced Spellcaster,
caster level as apostle of peace is (10+round_down(17/2))=18

my level is 17, but my spellcaster level is 18!

06-11-04, 05:03 PM And that's nothing, take a look at any build with Ur-Priest and True Necromancer,at level 20 you can have a spellcasting level of 30 for necro spells :D

06-23-04, 01:33 AM I believe you keep track AoP spells seperately form other spell casting classes, and the spells you cast from the AoP class are the AoP levels plus 1/2 other class levels. So, if you were a sor3/clr3/mys3/aop3 your caster level for sor spells would be 6, clr spells would be 6 and AoP spells would then be... 6 (clr and sor levels not stacking but overlapping in this case, IMO.)
