Apostle of peace

Required Feat: Vow of Proverty

under weapon and armor proficiencies..none except ring of protections and bracers of defense.

Misprint? In essence breaks the vow of proverty. So what rules the feat or the class decription?

I'm pretty sure that's a misprint. It says in the feat description that if you possess any magic items whatsoever, you lose all benefits of the feat. Yes, you could certainly own Bracers of Armor and assorted rings, but you wouldn't have all the neat stuff vow of poverty grants you.

Scratch what I said. It isn't a misprint. Like I said, as an Apostle of Peace, you can have rings/etc, but that does still mean you lose the effects of VoP. Apostle's of Peace are not forbidden from such items, as it says. But Vow of Poverty's effect still remains, until you have them. Essentially, you have the choice: Bracers of Armor and 2 rings of your choice, or freebie feats, ability scores, AC, saves, etc?

I got my answer finally from the wizards of caost..thought I'd share it with you all. This is just incase anybody else was wondering.

"This is a misprint. Because of the Vow of Poverty, the apostle of peace
does not get to wear armor. Please disregard the statement to the
contrary."

Thanks!

It's nice to finally have a ruling on that. Of course, who would violate the VoP to get bracers of armor when the VoP privides buku armor bonus? Hmmm.

For the price the books go for you'd think they would edit them much better. If I turned in work like that while I was in school..I'd be getting D's in english lol.
