This doesn't fit there though because I'm working on stunts. Ok a stunt is a combat based action you take to gain a bonus or instill a penalty upon an opponent, or any other cool tricks you can think of. For example my archer might shoot out a rope to save a hanging man. Or he may shoot an arrow ladder into a wooden wall. You can do these in D&D but Iron heroes has specified rules for them what I need from you guys is a series of stunts you come up with. (archer based of course) |

As far as things that have happened in my game, not much. One player did manage to score a wildly successful hit against an evil priest who was stirring things up by shooting an arrow as a "Hail Mary" shot. It arced perfectly, and as the priest raised his voice to the skies and shouted his supplication to the gods, right there in front of his whole evil congregation an arrow came straight down his throat. Can we say 'omen'? I had to improvise the rest of the game, but it was a great shot that he was never able to reproduce. I've also seen players shoot out bowstrings of rival archers, and one player allowed himself to be shrunk, secured to an arrow, and fired into what I thought was an impenetrable fortress. He had to be fired through an arrow slit from about medium range, but he made it! |
