Sorry, couldn't really think of where to put this.

I'd made my own rules for Albinism because I designed an Albino Dracotaur character, but then someone told me that the rules for Albinism exist. He couldn't tell me what they were or where they were from, though...

So, does anyone know?

Your character is Albino. Your skin and hair are white, or nearly so. Your eyes are pinkish-red. You tend to sunburn easily.

Was there anything else albinism should do? It doesn't really affect anything else, game-wise.

The name passes me at the moment, but whats the thing called that makes drow suffer in light?

Either "Light Blindess" or "You worship Lolth so you don't belong here".

I meant, are there any pros and cons, like Light Sensitivity x2 in exchenge for an extra feat. Albinoes are sensitive to light from their eyes and skin, but they work harder to try to fit in.

You could do that, but I think it's stretching things a bit. I mean, they're albino.. They're not creatures that've spent nearly their entire lives living in complete darkness like the drow. I'd suggest just leaving it as a descriptive trait rather than a mechanical effect.

EDIT: Oh, and no, I've never seen any official rules for it.

I would also give the light sensitivity. True albinos are very uncomfortable in bright light and often have to wear shades.

Also, I know this is not the place for it, but you are the second person I have ever heard of playing an albino. The first was me, in Star wars, I played an albino wookie named 'No Baka'

Hahaheheah ....

Albino Wookie ... just .. lame

Iv played a couple of albinos during the yeasrs and just used it as a descriptive trait.

BTW: There arent any rules for albinoism.

Sure there are.

Stat bonus Willpower +1, allergy, mild: sunlight, plus one other defect that....oh, wait, that's Shadowrun. There's albinos all over the place there. Lots of albino gnomes, too, oddly enough. In D&D? No, not that I know of.

I know there's an albino Drow in one of these adventures someplace.....I think it's City of the Spider Queen, but other than that, no, I don't think there's any hard rules for such a thing.

Feat: Albino
Prerequisites: White skin and Hair, Pink Eyes
Benefit: "Golly you're white!"
Normal: You're not that white.

There are no pros. Why would there be? It's a genetic abnormality. It's like saying having a mole on your butt should give you a free feat.

[H]aving a mole on your butt should give you a free feat.

You heard it here first, folks; Incenjucar is a firm proponent of the ruling that a mole on the butt qualifies one for a bonus feat. The defense rests.

For things like this, you should use Flaws from Unearthed Arcana. There are a couple that could apply and they each grant a bonus feat. You could also apply traits to help round things out a bit.

You are like a Vampire, dude.
The Sun Hurts you but doesn't kill you, unless you stay out in it for an extended period of time.

If your character is albino, I wouldn't have any special rules, except maybe soem sort of harsher reaction to spells like 'daylight' and such. He naturally would wear concealing clothing if the sun irritated him, so it probably wouldn't come up in gameplay. If your going for an Elric-inspired character, one who is albino and sickly, just give yourself a -2 constitution modifier in addition to any other racial modifiers.

It's best to keep special rules like these simple, so that they only come up in character creation or under very special circumstances, so you can concentrate more on roleplaying the character as opposed to playing him to avoid all of his negative characteristics. Like the Elric rule, negative constituion to start with, jsut remember to make him cough or weak or whatever on a pretty regular basis, and since it's a stat the rest takes care of itself.
