I need a set of white (not ivory) dice with red numbers to complete the color scheme I'm going for, but for some reason I can't find white-with-red polyhedral sets. Anywhere. The closest I can get would be a custom set from Chessex (expensive!).

What's up with this? Do you get sued by the Red Cross if you make white dice with red numbers? Does anybody know where I could find some, maybe on some shady black market or something?

Chessex, Koplow & Gamescience are probably the most well-known. I'd expect you should be able to get a set for $5.00 from either in the color your looking for (I have a 10 year-old set in the colors your talking about). E-bay might also land you what your looking for.

You might also be able to just find some white dice and ink/reink them red yourself (it's not hard).

No white-with-red dice from any of those three, excluding the Chessex "$1.00 per side" version (which is $70 for a polyhedral set).

EBay doesn't have them either.

Try getting a quote from these guys:

http://q-workshop.com/main.php?lang=EN&sell_type=DETAL

They can make 'em for you, and their charge varies depending of the complexity & time it takes to create your dice...

IF you're lucky, you might find some 'red on white' dice already on there - I only had a quick look.

Would taking generic plastic numbered dice and painting them white work? Then take a red ink pen and color in the numbers.

Would probably work best with a high gloss enamel spray paint and a fountain pen or rapidograph. And to finish use a clear spray overcoat to seal it up.

try searching "poly dice white red". I found one set for sale, though I'm not to sure about the white color.

I got five red-with-white and two gemini-with-red.

I'm trying q-workshop now, thanks. (They don't have any red-on-white on hand.)

I am fiarly certain I have a set like this. Perhaps more than one, in fact. If my currently missing :weep: dice-bucket ever shows up again I will happily send them to you.

Depending on your age you might be able to ask your local "friendly shop kid" to make at set for you. They can can even load them if you want.

.....to complete the color scheme I'm going for....

Interesting.

In all the years I have gamed, the very concept of color scheming my dice has never once entered my head.

....but good luck in your search. :)

Just in case I catch someone who has seen some.
