Are you a good artist? Please help. [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-22-05, 01:22 AM I'm looking for someone to draw a decently-high quality picture of my current character. I can't pay for it (or, if I have to, I won't be able to for 2-3 weeks) so I was hoping someone has some spare time. I want the picture to be somewhat the quality of those NPC pictures that are found in the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting [but of course, in any style.. anime/ect..ect..]. It doesn't have to be colored, just a sketch, more or less.

---Description---
A young, virilant fighter / sorcerer. He is decently tanned with dark hair [3-4 inches, spiked wildly] and bright blue eyes. His clothes are loose, and baggy. He wears a sleeveless shirt and baggy pants. A bandoleer (belt with many pockets) goes from his shoulder to his side (across his chest). On his hip is a scimitar, and on his back is strapped a nice-sized crossbow. I'd like the picture to be of him reading a scroll of some sort, maybe with some arcane energy flickering out of his fingers. Shoes and such don't really matter, I would just like the picture to be as detailed as possible. Perhaps throw in some fitting magical items (scroll case, rings, amulets, bracers.. ect ect as you see fit.)

Please, anyone who feels up to it please give it a shot. I would very much appreciate it!

08-22-05, 09:33 AM You could also try Hero Machine 2.0 (http://www.ugo.com/channels/comics/heroMachine2/heromachine2.asp). Its very advanced and easy to use. But nothing beats good old pencil drawings! :cool:

I was so impressed with this program that I went ahead and bought it. It far exceeded my expectations. That was a loooong time ago, and I still use when making D&D, Star Wars, and Mutants & Masterminds characters.

08-22-05, 12:51 PM Yes, I just checked out the program, and it is wonderful. However, I'm hoping that Elril here will become my Signature character, so I'm really hoping for something a bit more "in-depth" and a bit more detailed. However, the program is awesome.
