Argh I need a half-elf character portrait [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-08-04, 12:52 AM Im making a half-elf character in the next game. He's a wizard and I want him to have a non-robe look to him. Maybe a mantle like the shadow adept from the FRCS or a noble's garb like a swashbuckler (like Elaith "the serpent") in the FRCS.

Anyway if anyone knows a link to some good half-elf pics, Id appreciate it.

Could you please tell me how to find pics on that site? All I can find is games and such.

03-08-04, 02:23 AM There's a forum at this area of the boards in which they love to draw, and you can post a request: Art Gallery (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&forumid=391). Alternatively, you can find it near the the top of the scrolling Forum Jump list, which is at the bottom of the page upon which you now gaze.

Type half-elf
Click Search
Pick one of the 1900 images that come up.

03-08-04, 03:15 PM Did that, you'd be suprised that about 90% of that 1900 have nothing to do with half-elves, and the next 9% are dead links. The remaning 1% didnt have the one I wanted, since most people draw females nowadays.

The search goes on...

03-08-04, 03:25 PM Try fansites for games like NWN and BG. They often have a lot of art you can download. Heck, you can try the official game sites. Unless you want to give your half-elf a beard, most pictures with pure elves work just fine for half-elves too, btw.

As an aside, what's with the 'argh'? You got a cramp in your finger while typing? You're a pirate and have an argh quota to meet? ;)
