| Kane The Inquisitor07-12-05, 12:33 PM | I've got a couple more questions regarding the Basic Game : 1, How do you find your Armor Class Score when you create a character? I can't seem to find how you do that in the advanced rules book! 2, When it says 'roll to see how much weatlh your character starts with' it's followed by this on the table 5d4%10 gp, how do you roll for that, I don't understand it. Does it mean roll a 4 sided dice 5 times and multiple that number by 10? Life would be more simple if I had a decent brain, LOL |

I can't seem to find how you do that in the advanced rules book! Basically, add up everything that goes into your armor class, then add 10 to that. So, for a starting character, it's typically 10 + dex mod (potenitally limited by armor) + armor bonus + shield bonus + wisdom for monks 2, When it says 'roll to see how much weatlh your character starts with' it's followed by this on the table 5d4%10 gp, how do you roll for that, I don't understand it. Does it mean roll a 4 sided dice 5 times and multiple that number by 10? That's exactly what it means. Life would be more simple if I had a decent brain, LOL Welcome to my world. ;) |
| Kane The Inquisitor07-13-05, 07:44 AM | Basically, add up everything that goes into your armor class, then add 10 to that;) Thanks for the info Zherog, now I've got my armor class sorted out. But what is bugging me now is where does it tell you in the Advanced Rule book about how to get your armor class score? I've looked everywhere and it just doesn't mention it. I can see nowhere where it mentions add 10 or anything. I guess only those who own the Basic Game can answer this question. It's driving me mad as I know it must be there somewhere. |
