11-26-07, 04:05 AM Does an armor bonus to AC stack? Say, from, Full Plate, Bracers of Armor +4 and Mage Armor. Is that an AC bonus of 8+4+4, for 16, or just the 8 from the Full Plate?

As a general rule, the only bonuses that stack with themselves are Dodge bonuses. Untyped bonuses also stack with other untyped bonuses, as long as they are from different sources.

However, using your example of numbers,

Full Plate +1 (Armor bonus plus enhancement bonus) + Amulet of Natural Armor +4 (Natural Armor bonus) + the spell Shield would all stack, for an AC of 26 (minus any Dex penalties)

11-26-07, 12:15 PM In the example posted originally I believe the bracers of armor or Mage armor would work making it a +12 but those two would not stack. this gives a total AC of 22. Bracers of Armor give the same type of bonus as armor enchantment not mundane AC so they do stack.

In draco1119's example I am unsure how you arrived at 26 AC; +1 full plate =+9 , natural armor +4, and shield spell +4, base AC 10 totals 27 AC if the character has a dex bonus only 1 point would count in full plate bumping it to an AC 28

This is wrong. Both the Bracers and Mage Armour grant Armour bonuses and don't stack with that given by full plate or each other.

Bracers of Armor grant an Armor bonus, not an enhancement bonus to armor.

Because I made a mistake and thought Shield gave a +3 instead of +4.

11-29-07, 11:08 AM While the armor bonus from the Bracers of Armor does not stack with that from a normal suit of armor, it does overlap.

Since Bracers of Armor are based on the Mage Armor spell, the armor bonus they provide would be effective vs. incorporeal touch attacks.
