| weasel fierce04-23-05, 11:06 PM | If you're playing AD&D, then: your THAC 0 minus the targets Armour Class is what you need to roll equal or better. Same mechanic as today, if you do the math, just called something else. |

The higher the number, the easier you are to hit... therefore, lower is better. THAC0 - Acronym for "to hit armor class 0." It is the number you need to roll on a twenty-sided die to score a hit on something with AC 0. |
