| suxn10-02-04, 12:41 PM | So, id like to know everything technical of Artemis Entreri (class, items, level, aligment, skills, feats...). If there allready is this information on another site/thread, please post url here, or for me. |
| Seeker9510-02-04, 12:58 PM | What is Artemis Entreri? Nevermind -- I googled it. You'll get more info over on the Forgotten Realms boards where they have probably statted this guy out as every day for the past year. :D |
| Raymond_Luxury_Yacht10-02-04, 01:03 PM | In the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. |
| suxn10-02-04, 01:18 PM | Thanks for guidance Seeker95, i found a post, and i decided to post url if someone is interested : http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=44554 (search for artemis) |
| Wildonion10-02-04, 06:51 PM | The Faerun book is crud, he doesn't have Charon's (spelling?) Claw!!!! And Drittz's weapon Twinkle is a +5 Defending Scimitar! Oh and Entreri's Dagger is like a +4/5 Defending Vampire Regeneration Dagger!!!!! |
| Seeker9510-02-04, 08:05 PM | The Faerun book is crud, he doesn't have Charon's (spelling?) Claw!!!!Then that particular set of stats was pre-claw. Since he got it in one of the books, it stands to reason that there was a time when he did not have it. Surf the boards a bit more and you are likely to find multiple version of this Forget-the-Realms character -- pre- and post- claw. |

| Aramil_silverwind10-03-04, 02:45 PM | Either way, Entreri is the most badass characters I've ever read stories of. Personally, out of repsect for the character, I wouldn't give him stats. The books where written with D&D in mind I'm sure, but it still errs on the side of cool, rather than balance, as most books do. Some things in the books just can't be given fair stats (like Charons Claw) My example - Charons Claw. It dosn't have enough abilities, but from reading the book I can tell that it has an Ego above 20 (because it tries to take control of every weilder that find it) If you bend to the swords will, you die a fiery, smoking death. Thats just not balanced, and if you gave any player that item I'd expect them to just leave it alone forever. Its other abilities could be given stats, but thats not the point... its a item of which statistics and balance where never thought of, and it shows. Sure, you can give him an alighment, but I wouldn't go much farther than that. |

| The Shaman10-03-04, 04:20 PM | The Faerun book is crud, he doesn't have Charon's (spelling?) Claw!!!! And Drittz's weapon Twinkle is a +5 Defending Scimitar! Oh and Entreri's Dagger is like a +4/5 Defending Vampire Regeneration Dagger!!!!! And WotC didn't send out a free update with new stats to everyone who bought the book?!? WHAT A TRAVESTY! I'd ask for - no, I'd DEMAND my money back if I were you, that's what I'd do. No reason to stand for such inferior customer service! ;) (Okay, before anyone gets their knickers twisted, the foregoing was intended as parody, irony, and any other applicable form of wry humor that fits the intent of poking harmless fun at a Realms player. This is also a great example of why so many GMs choose to homebrew their campaigns - no one can ever say, "Wait, that's not what he had in the last novel!") |
