Escef 07-30-07, 10:34 AM	I got my CA (Custom Avatar) for being a GenCon reporter for the boards back in '05. (Before that I used Arcanis the Omnipotent.) Others got theirs as prizes or a reward of some kind for helping out the boards community.
RobbyPants 07-30-07, 11:19 AM	It's kind of funny. I was wondering the same thing when I first signed up a year ago. That whole time, my avatar has been Inkeyes No-Oni from MtG. That's been my avatar for so long, offered a choice, I think I would still keep it. Somehow, I feel it's intrisicly "me", even though I am neither female, a rat, or a ninja. :P

The Vorpal Tribble 07-30-07, 11:25 AM	I got mine from several things at the last couple UnCon. However, it took nearly a year before they remembered, and only when I pestered them. Still can't change it like other folks with custom avatars, and not a clue why that option wasn't given to me, but its better than nothing.
