This is that thread. Considering that there are European gamers and so on who post to these forums, I'm sure, I'd also hope that there might be some response from non-American black people, too.

My mistake. That was entirely due to limited scope on my part. Of course this thread is open to all gamers of African descent irregardless of location.

This is supposed to be a serious place for black Dungeons & Dragons players to discuss the game, and you have attempted to trivialize it into the butt of your joke. The fact that you just had to mention “bling “in your post only goes to further the negative stereotypes in the media, especially the idea that there are no serious black role players. As a group, black role players have largely been ignored in this world driven by primarily European fantasy traditions which has only recently taken to incorporating in Asian fantasy lore. I even once had the displeasure of participating in a camping where my DM would not allow my character to be black because black people apparently didn't exist in his setting. I kindly ask that you refrain from posting such content in this thread again and you seriously consider the impact your words carry before you make a post. Rocketboy13 , I am in no way meaning to discriminate against anyone with this thread. Anyone is free to post in this thread as much as they are free to post in any thread on this board. it was simply made with the intention uniting black D&D players to share their thoughts on aspects of the game. I am sorry if you were under the impression I was discriminating against you or anyone else.

Redeemed is right this is racist, mind you the female forum is sexist but being a 21 year old white male some where in the "Majority" you get used to being excluded from most things I mean woman gyms, i don’t go to gyms but this makes me want too

Lots of guys post on the Astrid's parlor (they've more or less taken over). I'm not much for the existence of the thread myself, but I find it strange that I must have seen dozens of threads about 'female gamers' (usually more or less sexist) on these boards, started by guys trying to (virtually) get their head down the girls' pants to explore the 'female psyche' (at least it seems like that was where they thought it would be), and yet when WotC takes the consequence and makes a place to discuss female players, the males are yelling 'sexist!'. Maybe if there hadn't been so many many threads about females (or threads were the sex of a female player was given unnecessary attention), WotC wouldn't have felt the need to make an official one. ;)
