I was wondering, do you need to use Handle Animal to command the creatures from a Bag Of Tricks? The description says that they can follow any of the commands given under the Handle Animal skill description, but doesn't say if you need to take the skill check or not.

You don't need the skill. It just lists the type of orders they will obey.

I found out that the ultimate Bag of Tricks (the 3rd one) can be useful.

Though I never found out what stupid mage would make a Bag of Tricks I so that he could summon a freaknig rat to his aid.
