| salp05-19-06, 09:13 PM | Im not quite sure how to rule this. i am going to place my party in an Antimagic field where some have balanced weapons. (Balanced weapons [a +2 enhancement bonus] grant a weapon the ability to be larger than nomally would be allowed, such as a Medium character with monkey grip to wield a Huge 2 handed sword.) In the case of the monkey grip character, would he be able to wield the weapon at all in an antimagic field, or would there be some penalty such as an additional -4 to hit with the weapon. Any feedback would be appreciated. or if you could site some rules (book and page #). |

As such, the character would be unable to wield the weapon at all. Especially if I understand you right in that a character is waving around a sword that is two-handed for a Huge creature (it's probably bigger than he is); you can't normally wield a weapon two sizes larger than you. If it was merely a large weapon, he'd be all right. |
