If for no other reason then it will stop people writing "exhalted".

Personally I like the book and use it in my campaigns unedited (except for Sanctify Ki Strike) but this has become an even bigger irritant than "rouge"!

 :banghead: :headexplo

At the end of the day, desperate means call for desperate measures.

BAN THE BOOK!

I like the book. Usage of terms will eventually meld into whatever exists and this is only a temporary feeling. Ride it out.

Groovy eh'.

You wouldn't believe how many people at my Writers Club pronounce Ogre as "Org." This led to my ogre threatening to give a Broadsword Wedgie to the next person who called him an orc. :mymy:

We must get stats for this guy... he could be the iconic Planeswalker!

I should put in an urbane, sophisticated high level planar bard NPC in my game.

"'Allo. I am Manuel of the planes. Pleased to meet you."

(That would be said in a bad spanish accent, to give you a better idea of what I was thinking.)

Will save or have all enemies stop and go "Awww"

The BoVD and the BoED has some nifty feats and other similar things running around them. However, there is a great deal of crap, especially the morality system they try to build. If I were you I would take what I like and leave the rest to rot.

The joke is that he's trying to get the book banned and out of discussion so he won't have to endure people misspelling "Exhalted". If you read his original post, he uses it relatively intact.

If I was a (non)serious about my peeves as he was, I'd ban the school of Enchantment because of all the people out there who can't get "affect" and "effect" right, and thus ruin all the Mind-affecting effects.

And when Manuel of the Planes gets together with Raul the Rouge, it's party time!

I know, but the BoVD and the BoED end up brining in many sad, sorry notions, which I find ultimately more annoying than spell errors.

Then again, I'm a terrible speller. But I can spell Exalted. And Manual. At least on a good day. :D

I don't know, I don't find 'exhalted' half as annoying as your sig. ;)

methinks you protest too loudly...

I like the book, and if a few people make spelling mistakes, it shouldn't be a big enough deal to make this much noise.
