OK. I'm working on a D&D story and eventually it will involve traveling across planes to find the Barbatos device, a device that can transport you to any plane (i think). I've only seen this mentioned in one of the fiendish codexes when talking about the demonweb. There is a ship whos crew had the device. The entry says that lolth knew about it. If anyone speaks of it they are killed. It is now in the possession of another powerful demon (apparently) and I need to find out who. Or... i need to adjust the plot and just pick a demon.
