Hey fellow gamers,

I've recreated the maps for Barrow of the Forgotten King at miniature scale for my home game using a mix of Illustrator, Photoshop, and user-created icons from the Dundjinni website. Each file is already scaled at 1 inch = 5 feet and at 150 resolution for large format printing.

If anyone is interested, you can download them at RPGMapShare.com or the following link to be exact:

Trust me, there's probably plenty of mistakes and things I may have missed, but hey, they're free! Enjoy and good gaming.

Any attempt to make playing digital DnD easier is appreciated.

Now, if Wizards could standardize their map-making procedures and provide downloadable versions to use (I mean come on, put some aspects on layers that you can flip off and generate a usable map for download!), well, that would save us all a lot of trouble, wouldn't it...

Just to let you know, I printed these maps on cardstock and they look great. Quite a bundle to carry around, but very cool and worth the minor inconvenience.
If you do any for the next mod (sinister spire) please let us know. Thanks again.

I'm definitely mapping the Sinister Spire later but I'm going to run Hollow's Last Hope from Paizo Publishing between the two (with a completely different group of adventurers of course). I plan on doing encounter maps for Hollow's Last Hope as well.

These are awesome! You just saved me a ton of work! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I was saddened when I got home with the module and saw the size of the maps included and was having a hard time figuring out how I was going to recreate them for play.

I'm preparing to run a chat campaign (using either openrpg or maptools for the tactical) through "Barrow of the Forgotten King" and was trying to figure out where I was going to scan the maps in and hoping they wouldn't look awful in a zoomed scale. Then I would still have to go in with Photoshop and remove all the numbers and giveaway features. Deep down I knew I would have to recreate them from scratch somehow.

I second that wizards should include an electronic version of the maps with the modules or just make them available online.

If you map anything else (especially Sinister Spire or the 3rd one), please let us know.
