| MEAT07-28-06, 01:03 AM | Sounds very cool! I'm going to check it out right now! |
| heruca08-10-06, 03:50 PM | A few suggestions for you, Stige. 1. Post your program's system requirements. From perusing your whole site, the only way I learned it was a Windows-only app was by actually downloading it. 2. Post some screenshots of the interface, or most folks will never bother to download it. 3. Your website looks weird in Safari. It's a bit better in Firefox, but in general, things don't seem to be showing up in the right place. Have a look at it in various browsers and do what you can to make it appealing to the majority of users. Good luck with your app. |
| stige08-10-06, 08:29 PM | Sorry about the troubles. When it comes to web designing I'm a rookie. Actually I studied it only for one intensive day. Anyway I truly am having troubles to work between the browsers. but I do try to make it best for firefox and Internet explorer since these are the most popular. As far as the requirements and screenshots I guess it's probebly needed, so I'll add it soon. And as a general notice...since I returned home after a vacation I'll probebly start to work on Battle Aide in the next day or two. So if someone is waiting for it, a new version will probebly be released during the next week. |

| Amaril08-10-06, 11:10 PM | I have to tell you, I certainly won't download anything without screen shots. How do I know you aren't slipping me a virus or something? Devin If all it takes is screenshots to convince you something isn't a virus, you might want to rethink your personal computer security policy. |

Yes, I was waiting with baited breath to see who would be the first wag to post that. Obviously, a screen shot doesn't guarantee safety, but it is a step in the right direction don't you think? Kinda sad I even had to type this response. Devin |

Devin No, I don't think a screenshot does anything to convince me of whether or not something is safe to download and install without knowing what it does. I also don't think it's sad that you posted that response. If it was an effort to be snarky, I think it's unwarranted. |

| Amaril08-10-06, 11:28 PM | It was your post that was snarky and obvious. Devin Let's not turn this into "Nuh-uh! It was your post!" or "I know you are, but what am I!" Let's just leave it as misunderstood intentions and meaning and call it a night. |

Not too sure about Safari, but it looks fine in IE and FireFox |
| stige08-16-06, 09:34 PM | Battle Aide 0.2.0 is out. I added few essential features requested by various people on various forums. So try it and notify me of your opinions suggestions and bugs. Stige's Productions (http://www.stige.co.nr) *Just saying because of few questions I got. I moved the site to another free host. (Cant afford a normal one for a freeware ;) ).www.stige.co.nr is the redirect link. And if I will ever change the address again the redirecting link will redirect to the right place. |
| boozerker08-17-06, 12:33 AM | If it's freeware, then you might want to make it open source and possibly get help in development at Sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/docs/about). Thanks for contributing free stuff to the world. |
| stige08-17-06, 05:31 AM | Thanks for the offer. But for me there is a fine line between making a freeware and giving my code away. |
