Ossyrian Ush'Bel 01-11-06, 02:10 PM	I have been looking everywhere. At one point someone gave me a link to a site that sold interconnectable(sp?) dry erase battle grids. I believe they had the standard 1" squares, but the actual boards they were on were interlocking hexagonal squares allowing you to better shape the area. Anyway if anyone has any idea what I am talking about could you post a link or perhaps get me a name, something. I tried searching google, but that didn't work so well. Thanks!

Ossyrian Ush'Bel 01-11-06, 04:50 PM	Sanity is a point of view. :D I realize there is one in the DMG, but it has set dimensions. These were a bunch of smaller hexagonal blocks that could snap together allowing you to shape the board. Anyways my group was interested in them when I brought them up and we wanted to pick some up but I can't remember where I saw them for the life of me. Thanks for the replies.

Thank you, I don't know where the hexagonal reference came from unless it was something I saw while searching earlier today. Anyways yes and thank you that is exactly what I was looking for. DM Dave 01-11-06, 07:48 PM	Let me highly recommend this product as one of the finest out there. As a long time DM this was an answer to the prayers of myself and my players. No squirt bottle... no "running out of room'... no reaching across the table to try and draw the dungeon... you can compose the square comfortabley behind the screen and set it into place. As one side runs out of space simply pick up the other end and move it along. Let me recommend a trip to Staples to pick up a dry erase board eraser, and some cleaner to remove the greasy build up of the markers. You can also pick up a nice color set there as well. Enjoy! Dave

Tuah 01-15-06, 11:04 AM	Try looking for Chessex vinyl grids. They're reversable to have hexes on one side, squares on the other.
Montuban 02-13-06, 10:11 AM	An idea that I cooked up a few years back was to take a piece of poster size foam board (like 2 sheets of tagboard with foam in the center) and draw grid lines on it then cover it with clear packaging tape. It was a lot easier to accomplish when you could buy ghostline tagboard, which I can't seem to find anymore. The tape is persistently tricky but it creates a surface that works just like a regular dry erase board if you do it right.
PineBark 02-13-06, 11:15 AM	I just got a few A4 paper sheets, drew a grid on them and laminated (like 50 cents per sheet). It's easy to erase whatever you draw on them, and our group is completely satisfied ^_^
