| Shalaska01-31-07, 01:55 PM | I am currently playing a game set in the astral plane as a Chaotic Evil Vampire Fighter. The rules of the city we are based at specifically say slavory is illegal and as an extension of that no mindless undead are allowed thus destroying my chances of attempting to make an army of minions as the Justicars are many levels higher then me. Since I cannot use the quest for power through making a large minion base as the priority my character strives for I am wondering how I can keep my character true to his alignment without destroying the party or the quests we are on. Any suggestion is welcome however I am not able to change my alignment as a Vampire and I am not willing to change away from vampire. |

Their life is less important than you doing what you want. (Thats your outlook on the world. It doesnt mean you have to be stupid though. CE isnt suicidal.) |
| Kevtar01-31-07, 02:34 PM | Yeah - CE is concerned with the freedom to do what you want, and what you want is to benefit you. If someone else benefits indirectly, well - whatever... Do you have to hide your vampirism? To me, it seems like deceit is the best option for you (and maybe - well not maybe but definitely - multiclassing). You should take Profession [Mortician] (and then max out Bluff) and get enough loot to start a morgue/mausoleum/funeral home/cemetery. Then, instead of burying the dead, you raise them and store them in crypts and catacombs beneath the mausoleum. Multi-classing would be helpful if you take wiz/sorc and are a Necromancer. Then look at Libris Mortis for more ways to get creepy. |

Spread chaos and terror. Try to find some other factin that intends to destroy the city and help them. Respect no one. |
| Shalaska01-31-07, 03:15 PM | The town we are in has very strict rules about fighting in the street, IE it is illigal and all a person getting attacked has to do is say Justicar and the law enforcement will show up instantly and arrest you. All trials are trial by combat. Now with this in mind would I compleatly ignore that rule and kill from the shadows or would I focus more on my personal saftey because of the large chance of getting caught. Also what would a good class be to multiclass in, keep in mind I am a Fighter with 27 str, and 21 chr. I am also the only real tank in the party at this time since I have dr 10 and regen of 5 every round. Finally because I am in the astral plane no one ever gets old or dies and thus opening a morge would do me no good, is there another proffesion you thing would fit my alignment well? |
