What do you all feel is the best "Complete whatever" book is? divine? warrior? arcane?

This might be a little premature. Complete Adventurer isn't even out yet. But so far I'd have to say Warrior. Weapon style feats and PrCs were great.

Depends on what class you want to play, and what role you play within that class.
I DM, and find them all to be quite useful.

The Complete Book, it has everything by WotC from 3.0 to today, and has a special auto-update feature that updates itself everytime WotC releases another book. ;)

I like complete warrior the most, and it has the most original material (ie not reprinted) so far, though i have high expectations for complete adventurer

i don't think any of them are worth wasting my money on.
each one is 80% re-hashed material from 3.0 and dragon magazine articles, and the 20% of new stuff just doesn't warrent spending what little money i have on them.

each one is 80% re-hashed material from 3.0 and dragon magazine articlesTranslation: If you have all the 3.0 splat books, a subscription to Dragon magazine, and have no objections to converting all of that from 3.0 to 3.5, you don't need these books.

If you don't have the 3.0 splat-trash or a subscription to Dragon Magazine, these books are perfect for you (assuming you play 3.5)

These books are also good if you don't have *all* the 3.0 splat books, and don't have *all* the Dragon magazines, and don't have the time or energy to translate all of the 3.0 material you do have.

These books are also good if you want the 20% that is brand new material.

These books are also just plain good if you want all of that "re-hashed material" in one place.
