| N1fanPearlJamMan03-11-04, 08:07 PM | I’ve seen a couple posts on here about where and what people like to play on. I’ve been playing for almost five years. My players and me decided to build a table early on because we were having trouble with lost dice, papers, and etc. So we went to Lowes, got out the tools and went to work, and it turned out great. We have a wooden table that is 5 feet long and 4 feet wide with folding metal legs. It has 6 cup holders, dice pits, and swinging shelves underneath. Additionally there are wooden arms that would slide out on both sides of the DM with legs of their own that folded down. The DM of course can set anything on the shelves, even a laptop or a monitor. It’s really sturdy and not that heavy either. The best part though is the felt table with the rolling grid. Basically we have a felt table with 3 by 2 foot board the rolls around on the felt. The boards itself is an inch thick with felt edges so you can roll the dice on the felt table and bounce it of the edges. The board of course is a grid that you set miniatures on. All you do is roll the board to whatever player needs it. It works out beautifully. I just wish we could have bought this or something because it was a lot of work… for my dad. |
