Prof. Pacali 05-31-07, 10:00 PM	You can't map an Outer Plane (especially Limbo) because the Planes are technically infinite. Instead decide on a few landmarks and create portals to them. For example, the big attraction on the Elemental Plane of Fire is the City of Brass, home to the Efreet. Decide on where a portal might be, and allow the PCs to find it. (Of course they might need protection from becoming a barbecue from the heat, and there is no breathable atmosphere because the fire burns it up, and there is nothing but lava to stand on, but otherwise they will do fine!) Limbo is even more of a challenge to map because every second it is changing. Back in Planescape the cutters would call a clueless Prime who tried to map Limbo barmy. However there are areas, like Githzerai monasteries, that are stable, can be mapped and most likely have portals. Hope this helps you!
