Greetings all. I have a question concerning the Lay on Hands (LOH) ability of a fallen paladin becoming a blackguard. The ability is on page 183 in the 3.5 Dungeon Masters Giude under the fallen paladins section -- levels 3-4. It reads as follows:

3-4: Lay on Hands. Once per day, the blackguard can use this supernatural ability to cure himself or his fiendish servant of damage equal to his Charisma bonus X his level

When it mentions level, does it refer to his character level or class level? For example, would a 10 lvl fallen paladin/5 lvl blackguard with a 20 (+5 bonus) charisma cure 25 points of damage or 75 points of damage? Thank you, any useful information would be appreciated.

. . . class levels as blackguard only.

If you look down to the Fiendish Summoning entry, it refers to this ability being dependant on the blackguard's class levels.

As such, I'd say the somewhat ambiguous entry for a fallen paladin's Lay On Hands ability would be too, meaning 25 points per day in your example.
