Does anyone know a site where I could snag a set of actual bone polyhedral dice for playing DnD?

Call it weird, but I just have this fascination of playing DnD with real bone dice. Just a cool factor that I really want to have. However finding a bone dice set is a rather large problem. Dicepool used to have one, but it went out of stock and never came back. Now it's not even on the site.

yes I have googled bone polyhedral dice set, bone polyhedral, and just about anything to do with bone dice. I have found one site, which is selling a teeny tiny set (12mm dice) for 40 bucks. I bit steep for 6 small dice. I just wanted to check before I forked over 40 bucks for a set of dice.

This is the first link I found, but I get a feeling it's the one you've already seen (for $40). Other than that, I don't know of any cheaper ones off hand.

Crystal Caste makes them. You can find them on their own site as well.

Try here:CrystalCaste (http://crystalcaste.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CC&Product_Code=02157&Category_Code=). They have some great stuff. I linked to the bone set. It's still $40, but the dice from here are great. I have a set of small jade dice. I use them exclusively now. Fantastic stuff! :D Now I just need a good enough reason to give my fiancee to let me buy the normal sized set...

EDIT: D' oh! Nija'd by Amaril! Oh well, at least I gave a linky! :P

Yeah, but you violated the CoC since they are an online retailer, too! So :P!

Yes, it's a lame rule, but I've had a thread locked when I just mentioned about legally buying PDFs from RPGNow.com even though I didn't insert a link.

Just stumbled across this thread... sounds morbid.

Back in my day, when we killed a lion, we'd whittle its teeth into dice ourselves. And then we'd make our own parchment too. Out of... unborn.... good orc babies with katanas.

Oh well. Hopefully the OP got enough info from what's been stated thus far. I'd hate to provide information and then get the thread locked before it can actually help the person seeking it...

I prefer home made.

That's what happens when you say you want to play a Frenzied Berserker.
