Hiya everyone. I've started to amass enough books that now I can fit them into three file storage carriers. the items that I have been using up to this time. However, the problem is (a) I don't have 3 arms and (b) they're starting to become a strain on my back. Anyone have any ideas to the best way of conveying large number of books from place to place? I'm thinking of something on wheels and has a cover (so if it is raining my books aren't ruined). I was thinking of luggage but they really aren't shaped that well for book. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Try this (http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1751&langId=-1&searchTerms=285%2F8566)

Unfortunately it's on a UK site, and I've no idea if you can get them in the States....

I've seen that at Wal-Mart.

I don't carry my books around.. I host the games. If I leave to a friend's house to game, I take my PHB and maybe a couple of other books, but in no way am I carrying around 60 books..

Usually between all of us we have at least one copy of something. When I go to another house to play it's hard enough to manage all the minis I have. I just take my three core books and let everyone else worry about all the supplemental ones.

But to answer your question I do have a backpack that doubles as a carry on. It has wheels on the bottom and a retractable hand pull. Fits the books nicely, though it won't come close to fitting 60+ books.

Well right now most of the games are over at my place so it isn't a huge problem. The issue is that one of the founding members of my group has left, and he was the only other one that had an extensive collection of the books, at least the supplements. The other issue is that the members that have supplements usually have the ones that I don't have.

So, whenever I game at one of the other people's house, for a while I was only carrying around one box that carried about 9 books and thin paperback supplements. The issue becomes (a) there would always be someone that wanted to reference from a book I didn't bring and (b) if I don't bring them, them I'm not using them and thus they become worthless. Also, I'm starting to collect miniature, and though they aren't heavy, they're bulky.

Cog, I'll have to look into that cart idea. It looks like it has some nice wheels to not bog down on anything. :)
