i'm betting this question has been answered before but heres a shot out in the dark >.<.

is the book of exaulted deeds a 3.5 ruleset book or is it 3.0?

if it is 3.0 rule set is there a downloadable content with instructions of converting it to 3.5?

thanks for the quick replies :)

i *think* its 3.5 (which would make its 'companion' the book of vile deeds 3.0)

Its v.3.5 and was first published in Oct 2003. The core rules for v.3.5 were originally published in July 2003, so anything after that is revised as well. So, the Book of Vile Darkness, first published in Oct 2002, is v.3.0 (but revised in Fiendish Codex I and II).

yes, hince the " around the word 'companion'. It actually states in the first couple of pages in Exalted Deeds that one *must* use the Vile Darkness book otherwise the stuff in Exalted Deeds would be obsenely overpowered. (And belive me, after last night where my husband was casting a few spells from Exalted Deeds that made the DM blink twice.)

However, if one goes to the mature forum, one can find what apparently most peoples' (well most of those that visit the boards) opnions on both books are.
