I would like to know if there is still a Bounty Hunter in the 3.5 Edition books or if they have gotten ridden of them totally.

In terms of a class I don't know, but IMO Bounty Hunter is - like merchant, guard, soldier, barkeep, labourer, or prostitute - a job that individuals of any class can pursue rather than a class unto itself. For example, there are two PCs in my game that work as Bounty Hunters: one is a Ranger, the other is a Rogue.

Well, there is the Bloodhound PrC from CV, as well as the justicar from CW, but no class specifically called Bounty Hunter.

There's also a PrC or two that are basically bounty hunters... Justiciar (Complete Warrior), Consecrated Harrier (Complete Divine? I know it was in the old Defenders of the Faith), and I think one in Complete Adventurer... not sure about other settings, but like Sulaco said, you don't really need a class or PrC to be one... I'd definatly look at Justiciar though, since it lets you do nonlethal damage without the normal penalty.

I don't recall there being a bounty hunter in 3.0... and as others have said, it's really not necessary. You can build an effective "bounty hunter" with any core class.

Well i wasnt looking from 3.0 i was talking about the bounty hunter from 2ed In the Complete Thiefs Handbook. But my question I think has been answered Cause I was also looking at those other Options. I was just looking For the Bounty Hunter because I was taking my first Character to 3.5.

I think they're gone because WotC doesn't need their kind of scum.

The most effective bounty hunter I ever played was a sorcerer/rogue. No need for a specific PrC.

There's the Bounty Hunter PrC from Star Wars d20.

However, I don't think that will convert well to D&D. Don't see many droids around here. And such.

I haven't looked at the class for a few years - does it have special abilities that affects Droids?
