| Epic Commoner07-19-05, 03:32 AM | Here's the deal, my friends and I are planning a campaign in which we are playing 30th level epic gestalt characters. My friend has a psion/wilder and a rogue/soulknife, and they have been planned out for 2 years to be the most powerful, broken PCs imagineable. I need your help creating a character equally as broken so as not to be overshadowed and useless, because then this game will be a total drag. I was thinking of having one of it's classes be druid, but that isn't set in stone, go wild and make the most powerful character possible. |

If I wasn't away from my normal computer, I could post the link to the build. Last I saw, it dished out over 1 trillion average damage at ECL 20. At ECL 30 and in gestalt, it could overshadow that with ease. |
| Epic Commoner07-19-05, 04:42 PM | That sounds incredible. That is very much a possibility, as long as it's not a one trick pony. |
| Asciiman07-19-05, 05:27 PM | Uhhh he said trillion damage. Do you really need anything else? Seriously? Do you need to ever do anything else but that? One attack will kill anything period. As the old saying goes, "If brute force doesn't work, you're just not using enough of it." |

I just wanna ask you this: What problem can't be solved by throwing a big rock at it? Rogue Player: Well, I can't seem to pick this lock guys, way above my skills, sorry. Hulking Hurler Player: HUFF!!! BOOOOM!! Rogue Player: Okay, I guess that takes care of the door. Fighter Player: It's gonna take quite a bit of work to take out those archers, scale the wall, take out those guards, kill the Mage, and collect the stolen treasure for our employer. I think some of us may die. Hulking Hurler Player: HUFF!!! BOOOOOM!!! Fighter Player: Okay, situation taken care of then. Lets go dig through the rubble and find that treasure. Mage Player: Well, I'm going to need to spend some time creating magical items, fellas. I've already rented a suitable laboratory and it should only take a couple of weeks. I plan on creating a... Hulking Huler Player: HUFF!!! BOOOOM!!!! Mage Player: Well, there goes the laboratory. Back to adventure I guess. Bard Player: I think I can talk my way into the palace and gain an audience with the King. Once inside, I'll question the servants as to where the secret entrance to the underground dungeon is. Servants always know such things. Once I have the location of the entrance of the secret underground dungeon, we can enter at night and quietly get my father, whom I am positive was unjustly jailed... Hulking Hurler Player: HUFF!!! BOOOOM!!! Bard Player: Okay, I guess the entrance is in this big hole here. Cleric Player: I would like to spend a little time here in this town to combat the disease. I'll spend most of my time inside that makeshift hospital over there to tend the wounded. I shouldn't be here more than a couple of weeks to make sure the disease is stopped... Hulking Hurler Player: HUFF!!! BOOOOM!!! Cleric Player: I guess that stops the disease from spreading. Back to adventure then. Paladin Player: I've been acting poorly. I must spend some time atoning in this temple to regain favor with my diety. Not only that, but I feel I must apologize to you all for allowing some of your behavior. Beauregard, I should have never let you interrogate that prisoner in such a manner. Illis, I should never have let you set fire to that forest just to flush out the enemy. Arthane, I should have never let you throw that mountain onto that palace just to find the entrance... Hulking Hurler Player: HUFF!!! BOOOOM!!! Rogue Player: I guess that takes care of the paladin, back to adventure then. Barbarian Player: I can't wait for this combat to happen. I mean, thousands of orcs and just the eight of us. We are soooo totally gonna kick the ever livin crap outta them. I can't wait. Ooh! Here they come. Hulking Hurler Player: HUFF!!! BOOOOM!!!! Barbarian Player: AWESOME!!! Can you teach me to do that? Please?! |
| Antioch07-19-05, 05:50 PM | I thought the latest HH damage was 780 trillion? |
| Escef07-19-05, 06:07 PM | Last I heard the Hulkin Hurler PrC was merely the tool that unlocked the power of the build. IIRC, the build involved multiple templates and such, an excellent formula for breaking any build. |
