well, here's the situation; i recently gave my DM zcomplete Adventurer for Xmas. normally she's adverse to the idea of using supplements, but she seemed to like this one. now, the thing is, she wants to know if any of the prestiege classes or spells or anything in there are broken or not, before we(the PCs) are allowed to use stuff. so, uhm.. any reviews, please?

if this is the wrong forum, then i apologize.

Nothing I've seen registered on my broken-o-meter. Most of the things in Complete Adventurer are more fun than "destroy others" in style, so it's brokenness is a bit capped.

i see. okay then. i guess i'll wait for a few more responses before giving her the "verdict" on this.

if anyone's wondering, our party consists of a bard, a barbarian, a cleric, a druid, and a rogue.

Fochulan Lyrist can raise a few people's broken senses.

Although it doesnt get any truly unique abilities, take into account the fact that it has FULL BAB progressions, 2 good saves, 6 + int skill points a level, full divine spell progression and full bardic spell progression as well as adding to bard levels for his bardic abilities.

ah. well, that's not a problem, though. my bard thinks druids are stuffy, and the druid just flat out hates bards, so neither of us plans to go FL anytime soon.

There was a 'broke-o-meter' for the classes made some time ago.

most of the prestige classes that were seen as 'broken' came from complete warrior (frenzied beserker, hurking hurler to name a couple).
