Jvance420 02-26-08, 03:22 AM	Would a specialist get a daily rate (skill mod/5=gold per day) or would it get a flat % of the total profit (25%-50%)? I would say a % being as he would be a partner, but I wasn't sure if anyone else knew more about this than I do.
Azezel 02-26-08, 07:52 AM	Honestly - it's all between the partners themselves to hash out. However, the DMG II has rules for businesses, if that helps.

It states that specialists make a daily rate, but then said you can make them a partner. Well, I am certain a specialist wouldn't get more of a cut than the owner, which in this case is my character. It also mentioned that specialists cost 10 gp a month to work for you. So basically, my options are: Daily pay 10 gp a month or a split, as a business partner
