Ok, so a bunch of my graduated friends are coming back for the winter break, and we have decided to plan MEGA D&D. 3 DMs, 4 players each, 2 days, countless fun.

So I, being one of the DM's, have a particular enjoyment for Celestia/Baator( Nine Hells) and plan to DM a 15th lvl adventure that can continue past the two days of MEGA D&D. I would just like you opinion in terms of plot, excitement, and creativity.

So, one of the first things I did, was go through the Book of Vile Darkness and read all about the different goals, alliances, and enemies of the nine lords of Hell. I then decided to pick Levistus, as the Partys lord.

Here it is... (text doc)

OLD ORDER
1st Layer-- Bel
2nd Layer-- Dispater
3rd Layer-- Mammon
4th Layer-- Belial and Fierna
5th Layer-- Levistus
6th Layer-- The Hag Countess
7th Layer-- Baalzebul
8th Layer-- Mephistopheles
9th Layer-- Asmodeus

CURRENT GOALS/ALLIANCES/ENEMIES

Bel--
Big on Blood War

Dispater--
Very Cautious. Ally with Mephistopheles, Hates Baalzebul

Mammon--
Distrusted by Dispater and Mephistopheles. Asmodeus altered his form

Belial and Fierna--
Belial Hates Mammon, wants 5th and 6th Layers. Secret Allaince with Baalzebul

Levistus--
Trapped in Ice. Hates Asmodeus

Hag Countess--
Solidfy Power

Baalzebul--
Enemies with Dispater, Mephistopheles, Asmodeus. Allies with Belial

Mephistopheles--
Enemies with Baalzebul. Allies with Dispater. Wants 9th Layer

Asmodeus--
Keep 9th Layer, Hates Demons, Hates Celestia

Party are Servants of Levistus.

Plan:

Step 1. Remove Levistus from the ice
Step 2. Offer Belial Help to Remove the Hag Countess
Step 3. Convince Mammon to Help the Hag Countess and refuse to help Belial
Step 4. Remove Belial with help of Mammon and the Mag Countess
Step 5. Force Fierna into submission and not to interfere
Step 6. Help Dispater and Mephistopheles to remove Baalzebul. (Baal Call on Belial for help, learn of Belial Demise)
Step 7. Remove Baalzebul with Dispater and Mephistopheles and claim the 7th layer
Step 8. Get Zagyg to Get Graz'zt to attack Asmodeus
Step 9. Convince Mephistopheles and Graz'zt to attack Asmodeus. Baalzebul returns
Step 10. Remove Asmodeus with help of Baalzebul, Mephistopheles and Graz'zt
Step 11. Have Bel attack Graz'zt to distract the Demon Prince
Step 12. Turn on Mephistopheles with Baalzebul with offers of the 8th Layer
Step 13. Claim the 9th Layer, Turn on Baalzebul with help of Dispater
Step 14. Remove Baalzebul, give 8th Layer to Dispater, 7th layer to the returned Mephistopheles
Step 15. Give 2nd Layer to Bel and First Layer to Baalzebul
Step 16. Restore Greyon to the 5th Layer

NEW ORDER
1st Layer-- Baalzebul
2nd Layer-- Bel
3rd Layer-- Mammon
4th Layer-- Fierna
5th Layer-- Greyon
6th Layer-- The Hag Countess
7th Layer-- Mephistopheles
8th Layer-- Dispater
9th Layer-- Levistus

Where do the PCs come in?

The PC's will be performing various quests that move the plot to the next step. As per a suggestion on freeing Levistus, one member said that the party could go to the elemental plane of fire and retrieve Decanters of endless fire (custom magic item) while braving various threats of the elemental plane of fire.

In order to say, convince Mammon to help the Hag countess, send the party to retrieve some priceless set of jewels (Mammon is very greedy)

Need more?

Sounds like you have it all figured out, except the part where the PCs end up stabbing the right people/gods in the back at the right time and take over Hell for themselves.

That comes after Dispater and Mephistopheles have taken their respective layers, but before Levistus claims hell :D

Good plot though?
