| lilwrath02-25-06, 10:46 PM | im new to dnd and i need to know what happens when you level up. ty. |
| Phantom Lord02-25-06, 10:57 PM | When you level up: Add any bonuses to abilities (if applicable; only occurs at 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, and 20th levels) Roll for HP: Roll your HD (d6, d8, d10, or d12) and add your CON modifier, else follow DM's houserules Refigure your BAB, Fort, Ref, and Will saves Choose skills Choose feat(s) (if applicable; for all but fighters its only on 3rd level and every three levels after that) Write down new class abilities/spells I think that pretty much covers it. The BAB, HD, Skills, Fort, Ref, Will, and Class Abilities are all covered in the PHB in the "Classes" chapter. |
| VirgilCaine02-25-06, 10:59 PM | You should be able to follow the numbered steps in the Player's Handbook. |
| Phantom Lord02-25-06, 11:06 PM | Too true, too true. Unfortunately, I, uh...misplaced my PHB some time ago, and wasn't entirely sure of what pages, or even what chapter, to point him to. |
| lilwrath02-25-06, 11:12 PM | ty but umm im not sure if it can be found in the advanced ruled book in the basic game box. |
| lilwrath02-25-06, 11:13 PM | i dont even have the pgb |
| Phantom Lord02-25-06, 11:13 PM | Download the 3.5 SRD. It's available on the Wizards site (somewhere) or on my site through the link in my signature. It has all of the non-copyrighted rules in it. |
| Nate Jones02-26-06, 02:34 AM | Which, unfortunately, does not contain rules for leveling up. |
