I know you're supposed to do a melee touch attack to grab hold, then do opposed grapple checks, but someone told me you can basically wrap an opponent up in your whip to start a grapple.

Any way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

I think that you can use the whip's reach to make the touch attack, rather than your own (I assume your talking about a long bullwhip sort of thing).

I agree, use the whip to make a ranged touch attack. However, if your opposed roll fails, give the target a free disarm attempt instead of letting him attempt to grapple you (since in this case there would be none of the usual back and forth stuff that you might see in wrestling, either the whip wraps him up or it didn't and you can try again next attack).
